DESCRIPTION: Even if you've never been here, you have seen the beauty of Monument Valley in the movies like Windtalkers and Forrest Gump. The rock formations that tower above the desert are among the world's most beautiful sights. But what you may not have seen is the incredible beauty of the Navajo culture. Nor have you experienced how hard they work to maintain their traditional culture and lifestyle. Raising livestock in this wilderness brings little cash--so roofs go unrepaired, and siding torn during windstorms goes unreplaced. Your hard work here will be deeply appreciated by the Navajo family. Your efforts can bring new life to the dry desert.
