There are many ways in our parish to praise God with your gift of music:
Pax Christi Schola Cantorum: A music training program in the European cathedral tradition for the youth and adults of the parish. The graded program forms singers for the lifelong praise and worship of God. The Ladies and Gentlemen of the Schola sing for Sunday Mass at 8:30 or 10:30. They rehearse on Wednesday nights at 7:15 in room #6. The children of the Schola (Novices and Choristers) sing at Mass once a month and with the adults for special occasions. Novices rehearse on Tuesdays from 4:15pm-5:30pm and choristers on Wednesdays from 5:15pm-6:30pm.
Ladies of the Schola: The ladies of the Schola meet to prepare SSA and SSAA arrangements of time honoured polyphony and Gregorian Chant for Mass. The rehearsal schedule is yet to be determined.
Cantor: Vocalists who are trained to lead the assembly in sung prayer for weekend Masses and special liturgies.
Organ Keyboard: Trained organists and pianists who work with choirs and cantors to lead the assembly in song for weekend Masses and special liturgies.
