Knights of Columbus News
The delicious Colorado peaches will be arriving Saturday, August 14th for pick -up. Prices are the same as last year – a full case purchased in advance is $32, with a half case being $17. If you wish to purchase peaches the day of August 14th, the price will be $37 for a full case and $20 for a half case. Advanced peach sales will start this weekend through August 8th. If interested, see one of the Knights in our Great Hall after each Mass.******

Catechists and Aides Needed!
There is a need for catechists and aides for our Generations of Faith classes that will start in the Fall. As a catechist, you will teach 7 fully designed lessons and attend 7 implementation meetings where you discuss the focus for each lesson and receive the lesson with an opportunity to talk to a designer of that lesson. As an aide, you will help facilitate catechists for 7 lessons but do not need to attend implementation meetings, but always invited. New catechists will receive training last three Mondays in August. If you are interested in sharing your love of Christ and helping form our parishioners in their faith lives, please call Sue at our Parish Office. ******
Are you part of the Y Generation, age 19-26…? Generations of Faith is for you also!
Cassandra Stelter, a GOF catechist in that age grouping, is looking for young adults single or married to participate in faith sharing during Generations of Faith. Her session will meet on the Sunday GOF schedule after the 10:30 Mass. FYI, there are additional sessions available for the other schedules. To see full schedules, go to our web site. Pax Christi Moms Group
Our Moms Group will be sponsoring a bake sale after all Masses on the weekend of August 14-15. Proceeds to benefit SafeHouse Denver. The next Book Club for Moms Group will be on Monday, September 20th at 7 PM in the HR Tattered Cover coffee shop area. All moms of the parish are welcome to join us. We're taking a break for the summer from our monthly Tuesday meetings, but will kick off another fun year starting September 7th at 9:30am. LADIES! SAVE THIS DATE! October 15 - 17th are the dates for the 16th Annual Women's Retreat at the Sacred Heart Jesuit Retreat House. We are happy to announce that Fr. Ed Kinerk will be facilitating our retreat. (Fr. Ed currently serves as administrator at the Retreat House.) This retreat offers a respite from our routine lives and is an opportunity to grow spiritually within ourselves, to seed new relationships with women and it opens up time for prayer and reflection in a setting of peace and tranquility. Cost and details will be upcoming.
